Very successful visits of Prime Minister
of Montenegro Milo Djukanovic to Washington is a great incentive to
further relations between Montenegro and the United States, said U.S.
Ambassador Roderic Moor in conversation with Foreign Minister Milan Rocen. Moor
is also conveyed gratitude to Washington for the role and contribution
of Montenegro in strengthening stability and cooperation in the region
and strengthening well relations with the countries in the region.
Rocen said that the
Prime Minister visits Washington in the best proof of excellent
relations between the two countries, and that messages from a
conversation with the highest representatives of the U.S.
administration are a great encouragement to the Montenegrin government.
"We appreciate the support that the U.S. provides a rapid
progress of Montenegro in NATO and further progress towards EU
membership, and implementation of internal reforms," said Rocen.
At the same time added that the strengthening and training institutions
of the system and to continue with a further reform activities, particularly in the
areas of rule of law and justice one of the priorities of the
