The
Ministry of Physical Planning and Environmental Protection of
Montenegro held a meeting with representatives of one of the most
famous companies in the field of architecture and design Foster &
Partners and representatives of the Atlas Group.
Representatives
of the companies expressed their interest to engage on issues of
planning in Montenegro, especially in environments where the challenges
of fitting in the context of the medieval Mediterranean and remarkable.
The meeting was attended Minister Branimir Gvozdenovic and Assistant Minister for the regulation of space Branislav Gegović.
The
meeting discussed the possible engagement of the company Foster &
Partners to design individual hotel and restaurants of content on the
Montenegrin coast. As stated in the Ministry, given their commitment,
but also need to inpuls new development architecture, led the talks on
the future engagement of this renowned company.
The meeting
was organized with the aim of establishing communication, and
continuing development of policy bringing large companies in the fields
of architecture, design, planning and similar, such as Horvath &
Horvath, Ecosign, IBI Group, Hurdzan Fry & Environmental Design,
and others in Montenegro.
As to stand out in
the Ministry, Foster & Partners is a world famous architectural
firm with headquarters in London. Guided by its founder and chairman,
Norman Foster, and they have a vast number of buildings of glass and
steel architectural performed at the highest level. They are especially
known for their work on the world's great airports. Since cooperate
with the government, particularly should allocate the Reichstag
building in Berlin, London City Hall, Building of the Supreme Court of
Singapore, Peace Palace in Kazakhstan and the like. They also designed
buildings for various purposes - from bridges, buildings of cultural
significance, sports halls, higher education institutions such as the
Cambridge Law School, Tanaka Business School, Yale School of Management
