In the second half of the year, Montenegro and Macedonia could be
included in the white Schengen list, which means that their citizens
would travel to 22 EU member countries and Norway and Iceland. This was
confirmed to the Montenegrin media from several diplomatic sources.
The EU believes that Skopje has done the most in fulfilling the
criteria from the Roadmap, a document in which the European Commission
stated the conditions to be fulfilled for each country of the Western
Balkans in order to obtain a no visa regime. Montenegro is not falling
behind Macedonia a lot. However, 27 EU member countries need to give
their approval for inclusion of Montenegro into the list. (Source: Vijesti)
