In a conversation with Vice President of the Montenegrin Government
Gordanom Durovic, British Minister for Europe Caroline Flint said that
Great Britain supports Montenegro in the effort to obtain the EU
candidate status.
Great Britain supports the efforts of every country in the process of
accession and encourages Montenegro in the continuation of its European
path. The British stand regarding the decision of the EU member
countries on the Montenegrin membership application is that the issue
