A survey carried out by Tourist Organization(TO) of
Budva show that this city is becoming a top destination for night-life.
Beautiful beaches and the sea are also important reasons which lure
tourist here. The complaints are mostly connected with the high prices,
impoliteness, whilst smaller number of the respondents complained on
cleanliness, lack of parking lots, crowds, over-crowding the beaches
with beach equipment...”, said director of TO Budva Jelena Radjenovic.
Budva – The results of two surveys
carried out by Tourist Organization of Budva since the start of the
season show that nearly 90 percent of those who spent their holidays in
Budva would come back again, and most of them, 41 percent has replied
that night life, sea and beaches are the reasons which lured them in
the this tourism metropolis.
The first survey was carried out among 534 respondents who answered
twelve questions on seven info-spots of Tourist Organization of Budva
on all tourist places of our Riviera.
“Three percent of the respondents evaluated the quality of the
accommodation in respect to the price as excellent, 50 percent of them
found it very good, and only 12 persons, i.e. 2 percent of the
respondents think of it as poor. Nearly 90 percent of the respondents
were satisfied with the level of tourism and catering services. More
than half of the respondents are satisfied with cleanliness of the
town, beaches and surrounding, and 98 percent found cultural and
entertainment events in Budva very satisfactory. Besides the positive
comments and approvals, there were also complains by 35 respondents,
mostly connected with the high prices, then impoliteness, whilst
smaller number complained on cleanliness, lack of parking lots, crowds,
overcrowding the beaches with beach gear items...”, said director of TO
Budva Jelena Radjenovic for “Vijesti”.
The survey concerning the reasons that attracted the tourists to come
to Budva, was also carried out on the web site of TO, Radjenovic said.
She mentioned that starting from 1st of June this web site had 12.584
visitors from 85 different countries among which were Serbia, Germany,
Macedonia, USA, Italy, Russia and Great Britain.
“41 percent preferred to spend their vacation in Budva because of its
beautiful beaches and sea, and for exactly the same number the night
life was a determinant factor. 18 percent of them said that history and
cultural heritage played important role when choosing a destination for
their holidays”,Radjenovic explained.
Several travel agencies from Dubrovnik organize daily tours to Budva,
and transport their guests to Budva’s cafés and discotheques,
confirming the fact that Budva is one of the top destinations for
